We brew dozens of different beers each year. We regularly distribute Pre Flight Pilsner and Jumbo Juice IPA throughout the Puget Sound area via NW Beverages and Jumbo Juice through Sound Beverage in Bellingham. Most of our beers, however, are served exclusively at our two locations. Below you’ll find descriptions of some of our most-common offerings:
PRE FLIGHT PILSNER
Pre-Prohibition Style Lager
An early American-style lager, which was popular in the U.S. prior to prohibition. A blend of German base malts, along with flaked corn, results in a beer that’s full bodied, yet crisp and highly-drinkable. German-grown Hallertauer Perle & Mittelfrüh hops provide floral, earthy and spicy notes.
ABV: 4.8% IBU: 30 OG: 11.9P
Availability: Year Round
One of the first hazy IPAs to hit the taps in the Pacific Northwest. Loads of flaked grains provide a smooth, silky body. A generous addition of uber-fruity Yakima-grown Citra & Apollo hops leave this beer bursting with tropical hop flavors and aromas, including notes of pineapple, passion fruit and mango.
ABV: 6.3% IBU: 40 OG: 15.4
NW-Style Double IPA
A Northwest classic. Assertive and bright, with a firm bitterness. A touch of sweet caramel malt creates a nice balance with the flowers, citrus, and pine from the hops.
ABV: 7.8% IBU: 60 OG: 16.9P
Franconian Style Pale Lager
A rustic, country lager modeled after the many beers we’ve consumed from the small breweries in the Franconian region of Germany. Endlessly drinkable – featuring a soft, velvety texture with smooth creamy carbonation. Brewed the traditional German way, with a series of step mashes and decoctions.
ABV: 4.9% IBU: 27 OG: 12.3P
Availability: Year Round
A hazy IPA loaded with oats for a creamy, smooth body. Mosaic and Azacca hops provide rich notes of mango, pineapple, citrus and stone fruits.
ABV: 6.5% IBU: 30 OG: 15.6P
Munich-Style Festbier/Wiesn Bier
In the festival tents of Munich, you’ll find liters of Wiesn Bier – the traditional Festbier of Oktoberfest. Our version uses German Pilsner and Munich malts, which results in a subtly sweet body – balanced with floral and spicy notes from Hallertauer Tradition and Mittelfrüh hops.
ABV:5.9% IBU: 20 OG: 13.7P
Originally-brewed in honor of our rocket-building friends here in the Kent Valley, this beer celebrates our region’s rich aerospace history. We brew this beer with a generous amount of wheat and oats, then hop it with Yakima-grown Cascade, Centennial and Citra hops for intense notes of citrus and tropical fruits.
ABV: 4.5% IBU: 18 OG: 12.3P
A hybrid style with origins in Köln (Cologne), Germany.
Featuring a crisp, dry quality, with a hint of fruity and bread-like aromas.
